Located between Lake Shasta and Mount Lassen Volcanic National Park, 60 miles from Redding, near Big Bend on the Pit River, Forest Springs Getaway provides affordable lodging for fishing, hot springs, romantics, families.

Set between garden and forest with mountain views, the Guesthouse has an airy bedroom with queen canopy bed and twin bed; living room with queen sofa bed and DVD movies; large fully equipped eat-in kitchen; private bathroom with shower and tub; and private outdoor sitting area with grill, picnic table and chairs under the trees. Guests may bring their own food or let us do the cooking; we serve dinner and breakfast at the 1921 Log House overlooking garden and forest. Menus on our website.

The historic Log House has a queen size brass bed in the spacious upstairs bedroom. The shared bathroom with clawfoot tub and shower is downstairs. Guests are welcome to enjoy the living room, porches and movies.

Amenities:

Since we only accomodate 1 group at a time (2 groups max), well-behaved dogs may run free (at your own risk). The guesthouse has complete eat-in kitchen, A/C and heat, movies, shady area with chaise-lounges, picnic table, chairs, BBQ; doggie pool, splash pool. Friendly staff, trail maps, meals available. Private lake, creek, springs on 160 acres in lush forest with great views! Miles of trails for easy strolls, challenging hikes or horseback rides. A peaceful retreat with a variety of self-initiated activities where dreamers refresh their dreams, friends and family renew their bonds, with time to let life simply wander.

Rates:

Guesthouse: daily: $100 for 1 person, $125 for 2 people; each additional person $20, $10 per pooch, $15 per horse. Weekly: $600 for 1 person; $750 for 2 people; $120 for each additional person; $60 per pooch.

Groups needing more space may also use log house bedrooms & bath at the same rates as the guesthouse, and have their meals in the guesthouse with the rest of their party.

Log House: Rates include 3 meals daily per person, $140/day for 1 person or $205/day for 2 people, dog $15.

Rates are plus 10% lodging tax and include use of rowboat, games, and movies. Monthly rates. Gift certificates.

Pets:

Pets and horses welcome with prior approval.
Dogs $10/night or $60/week fee in the Guesthouse.
Dogs $15/night fee in the Log House.
Doggie pool, dog washing station, towels, tie-outs, bowls, freedom to run loose.
Horses $15 per night.
Cats and small animals are also welcome and require a refundable pet deposit.

Dates Available:

March 15 - November 15. Gladly open by special request at other times.

Minimum Stay:

1 night; 2 nights on holidays.

Payment Policies:

Reservations held with one night's deposit; 10% tax. 3-day cancellation notice; $10 cancellation fee. Refundable cleaning/damage deposit of $25 or more may be required.
