The area is rich in history and natural beauty, with antiquing, canoeing, boating, beaches, birding at wildlife preserves, biking, swimming, fishing and golf virtually at your door. Chincoteague, Assateague, Ocean City, and Crisfield with its boat to Smith and Tangier Island are all only about 30 minutes away. Canoes or boats can be rented one block from the Inn to take you exploring on the Wild and Scenic Pocomoke. The Chesapeake Bay is only a short distance by boat or car - perfect for sailing and motor cruising.
