Buffalo is a small country town with a population of 2,000 and was established in 1871. During the earlier years buffalo roamed the open range and hilly areas. The town was incorporated in 1913 and contained in an area of 4 square miles. There are a variety of family restaurants, including the on-site Rainbow Restaurant that offers an excellent buffet for both lunch and dinner.
