Newly renovated 3 BR/1.5 BA cottage in Charlevoix, MI is just a short walk from two fantastic Lake Michigan beaches – one that’s dog-friendly and one that’s great for the kids with a playground area and lighthouse.

The first floor is all hardwood floors, with an open living/dining/kitchen area with full-size sleeper sofa, two bedrooms (1 queen, 1 full) and a full bath. Upstairs is a large, carpeted 3rd bedroom with 2 twins and a half bath. The layout works well for a family of 4-6, two couples who don't mind sharing a shower, or a couple wanting a spacious getaway.

Enjoy grilling on the back deck overlooking a large backyard, and the cottage is fully equipped with linens, cookware and dinnerware to simplify packing for your vacation. House-trained dogs are welcome guests, and you'll find the town very pet-friendly with dogs allowed in some downtown shops.

Attractions:

Coffee shops, gourmet restaurants, outdoor concerts in the park, sailing and motorboat charters, ice cream and fudge shops, and even a local fishery, are all within walking distance of the cottage. There’s a fantastic lakeside bike trail (paved) that runs 20 miles along Lake Michigan to Petoskey, as well as numerous options for golfers. Traverse City and Mackinac Island are easy day trips. Charlevoix is a great place to get away from it all - this small resort town in Northern Michigan has an old-time downtown shopping district, the area’s only working drawbridge, and breathtaking sunsets over Lake Michigan.

7/20 thru Labor Day week - $1200/wk

Monthly and weekend/long-weekend rates are available from Labor Day - Memorial Day. Email us with your preferred dates and we will discuss rates (generally $125/night; $500/week; $900/month)
