Completely remodeled and redecorated in 2004, this casually elegant vacation property is conveniently located only 1 mile from the charming town of Hammondsport and it is close to the water's edge, which greatly enhances the lake vacation experience. Take just one step down from the covered front porch and you are on the property's beautifully landscaped, level front yard which has 135 feet of lake frontage. Besides the covered front porch, other outside amenities include a lakeside patio, a large L-shaped dock with Adirondack chairs and multi-level decks. These decks provide you with additional Adirondack chairs, a patio table w/chairs, and a loveseat swing. In addition, the upper deck has a 16 ft. long, bar-height, counter, which is a great place to have a meal or liquid refreshments while enjoying a commanding view of the lake. With the property's many trees, you can choose either sun or shade for your outdoor enjoyment. Two boats are included for your pleasure.
The ground floor of this home has a very open layout with the kitchen, dining and living areas combining into a spacious room 40 ft. in length. The new furniture and decorations are selected to make this area inviting and casual but also elegant. In addition to the 4 remodeled and redecorated bedrooms on the second floor is a unique walk-out, enclosed balcony (sunroom). This room has both windows & screens for enjoyment in any weather and it provides a 180 degree panoramic view of the lake. The new 2-person pub table is a great place to have morning coffee, a light meal or a nightcap. The matching dining/game table is a nice place to gather for a meal or other family activities while enjoying a great view of the lake. The redecorating in 2004 has changed every room in this lovely lake home and, in this regard, one bedroom won 1st place in a Home Depot decorating contest while a real estate professional says this home should be featured in House Beautiful. However, the following fees apply: Travel Insurance (4.5% of gross rental amount, optional), Linen Rental ($15 per person, optional), Pet Fee ($50 per pet, if applicable), Non- refundable Unit Service Fee ($115-$215 depending on unit size) and Non- refundable Reservation Fee (9.5% of the rental rate). Payments may be made by check, money order, Discover, or VISA/MC. Travel Protection Plan (Optional): Through CSA Travel Protection Finger Lakes Premier Properties can help you protect your vacation investment. For information about this program, please call Finger Lakes Premier Properties or CSA Travel Protection 866-999-4018. Cancellations and Change Reservation Policies: If you must cancel your reservation for any reason, you will receive a full refund, less 25% of the gross rental paid to date, and non-refundable fees, if we can re-rent the same property for the same period. If we cannot re-rent the same property for the same time period, the full amount pre-paid must be forfeited. Please note that if a reservation is changed, the change will be treated as a cancellation and the same terms will apply. We feel it is in your best interest to look carefully at the CSA Travel Protection program we have put in place for you. Cleaning: We clean and inspect your vacation home prior to your arrival and after you leave. The Unit Service Fee for this service depends on the size of your vacation home and ranges from $115.00 to $215.00. We also cover any minor accidental damage that might occur during your stay. Guests, however, are responsible for any major or intentional damage. Our housekeeping and maintenance staff is on call 24 hours a day 7 days a week in the event you require their services.
