On a quiet country road just a few miles from the typically Vermont small town of Washington, The Caleb Atwell House is an authentically restored Cape Cod colonial surrounded by thousands of uninhabited acres.

The house features wide plank flooring, original beamed ceilings, a living room with fieldstone fireplace, den, two bedrooms and modern full bath, new half bath, a new fully equipped kitchen, a large flagstone patio. All conveniences and tastefully furnished. Mountaintop with great views & privacy, yet accessible. Well behaved pets at slight additional cost. There are 3 double beds and 1 folding bed, accommodating up to 6 people.

The property includes its own private spring-fed pond, ideal for swimming and ice skating. Maple hedgerows, picturesque meadows, and nearby woodlands create an impressive fall foliage display. Far from the maddening crowd, the area is an ideal hiking and picknicking area and wildlife refuge, and is exceptionally well suited for cross country skiing. Horseback riding,fishing,golf,downhill skiing/snowboarding, quaint country auctions, antique and specialty shops are all within easy driving distance. Less than one hour to Stowe, Killington, Sugarbush, Burke Mountain, Ascutney, Bolton Valley ski areas.
