Set on 36 acres on a hillside overlooking the Crystal River just west of Aspen, Avalanche Ranch offers 13 cozy log cabins ranging in size from a studio to two bedrooms, a log lodge building for meetings and games, and a well-stocked antiques shop. All the cabins have fully equipped kitchens, porches, private yards with picnic tables, barbecue grills, and spectacular Rocky Mountain views. Each is well equipped and tastefully decorated, including down comforters. Some have woodstoves, clawfoot tubs, and loft. Hot Tub on site.

For larger groups there is a three-bedroom Ranch House featuring a full kitchen with microwave, woodstove, and dishwasher, washer/dryer, stone wall fireplace, TV/VCR/DVD, stereo with cassette and CD player, and private deck with gas barbecue and picnic area. The Lodge, containing telephone, TV/VCR/DVD, wireless high speed internet, games, videos, and ping pong table, is available 24 hours.
