Located on sparkling Cypress Creek and just a walk to historic Wimberley Square, Abundance Retreat's Moondance Cabin, is an adults only/pet friendly property.
MOONDANCE CABIN, a luxurious 800 square foot log cabin, is perfect for a romantic get-away for 2 or a "girls weekend" for up to 4!
Moondance features the Full Moon Suite with a roomy and charming sleeping/living area appointed with golden knotty-pine walls, a hand crafted king-size bed, a pull-out sofa, a wood-burning stove and a Texas native stone hearth. Midnight blues and creamy whites capture the romance of a moonlit sky. Your cares will melt away in Moondance's oversized corner whirlpool tub and private cedar sauna. Moondance has a full kitchen with rustic custom pine cabinetry.
Connect with nature and soothe your soul on the peaceful and unspoiled GROUNDS OF ABUNDANCE. Towering Live Oaks with outstretched branches welcome you upon your arrival. Rays of sunlight gently filter through the leaves of Abundance's park-like setting. Deer, birds and butterflies will likely pay you a visit sometime during your stay. Spring-fed Cypress Creek winds its way alongside your backyard, so clear that you can see the fish and turtles smile at you.
You may never want to leave this peaceful place. Rock away the hours on the front porch in pine rocking chairs or walk away the hours along Cypress Creek. Hunt for fossils or enjoy a romantic picnic on the spacious grounds. Enjoy the trails of the nature preserve across the creek or toast the sunset of another abundantly beautiful day.

No car? No worries. Abundance is located just an easy walk from the downtown Wimberley Square. Steeped in history, the Wimberley Square is famous for its antique shops, art galleries, restaurants and live music. You can leave your car and your worries behind as you explore the best Wimberley has to offer on foot.
Or, if you're a nature lover, you can play and swim in Cypress Creek, located in our back yard; walk the nature trail, located across the creek; or visit the famous Blue Hole swimming hole, just a short distance down the creek!
Rates:
The nightly rental rate is $250 for up to 2 guests, and $25 for each additional guest up to 4 at maximum capacity. Add 6% hotel/motel tax. We require a 2 night minimum stay, except on major holidays - - which is a 3 night minimum. If interested in a weekly rental for Moondance, please call or email us for rates.
Pets:
Dates Available:Year round. Minimum Stay:2 night minimum stay. Payment Policies:To reserve Moondance, a 50% deposit is required at the time of the reservation, and full payment is due 30 days prior to arrival. All room rates are subject to 6% sales tax. Also required at the time of booking is a "Damage/Excess Cleaning" deposit of $200 for Moondance. This can be either a credit card authorization or a check. If in the form of a check, the check will be returned to you after your stay assuming no excess cleaning is required (e.g. carpet cleaning, extra kitchen cleaning, etc.), no damage occurred and nothing is missing or broken. If any portion, but not all, of this deposit is required to cover damage, excess cleaning or missing items, the unused balance of the funds will be returned to you. If you choose the credit card authorization method, and there is any damage, extra cleaning or missing items, we will charge your credit card directly. We reserve the right to cancel your reservation if we do not receive this deposit within 2 weeks of making your reservation. Please note that you are also liable for damage or cleaning in excess of the amounts specified above and we reserve the right to charge your credit card if necessary. We accept Visa and MasterCard. Personal checks and money orders are also welcome provided they arrive in the specified time periods. Please make checks payable to Abundance. Restrictions:We regret that we cannot accommodate children. Moondance is a smoke-free facility. Smoking is allowed outside on the porches and patios only. Abundance is a nature retreat. We ask that you treat our property (the houses, land, plants and creek), wildlife and our neighbors with courtesy and respect. This includes staying within the boundaries of our property. We are sorry but we cannot accommodate large gatherings or loud parties. If you would like to host a small gathering, please coordinate this with us. We reserve the right to cancel your stay in progress if issues arise that endanger your safety, inconvenience our neighbors, threaten our property, or compromise natural surroundings or wildlife.
