Named for its bright and sunny interior, Sundance is a luxurious and spacious log home that brings the natural beauty of the outdoors inside to you. Located on sparkling Cypress Creek and steps from the historic Wimberley Square, Sundance Lodge is an unforgettable setting for a family reunion, "Big Chill" weekend, "Girls Shopping Extravaganza" or a relaxing sanctuary for a bride-to-be and her family on the eve of her wedding.

Sundance Lodge has 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, accomodates up to 8 guests and is approx. 2800 sq. feet. The Sunrise Suite boasts views of towering Live Oaks and sweeping grounds. The Lily of the Valley Room is high in the treetops, opens to the heavens with skylights and envelops you in fluffy bedding. The Play Room features antique toys, games and books and promises to bring out the kid in you. Sundance also includes a Great Room that is truly great and an inviting pine log Den with overstuffed leather chairs and stone hearth.

Outside, you'll find the Outdoor Entertainment Area - - over 2000 square feet of exterior patios and decking, an outdoor kitchen made of limestone from the Texas Hill Country - featuring a grill, a smoker and a sink, and a covered stone porch with rocking chairs. This expansive outdoor entertainment area creates a seamless connection of inside and outside, blending natural beauty with comfortable living.

No car? No worries. Abundance is located just an easy walk from the downtown Wimberley Square. Steeped in history, the Wimberley Square is famous for its antique shops, art galleries, restaurants and live music. You can leave your car and your worries behind as you explore the best Wimberley has to offer on foot.

Or, if you're a nature lover, you can play and swim in Cypress Creek, located in our back yard; walk the nature trail, located across the creek; or visit the famous Blue Hole swimming hole, just a short distance down the creek!

Rates:

The nightly rental rate is $550 for up to 6 guests, and $25 for each additional guest up to 8 at maximum capacity. Add 6% hotel/motel tax. We require a 2 night minimum stay, except on major holidays - - which is a 3 night minimum. If interested in a weekly rental for Sundance, please call or email us for rates.

Pets:

Dogs who are house broken, friendly and non-destructive are VERY welcome.
A non-refundable pet fee of $50 is required per dog.
We provide a single faux wicker kennel that is perfect for 2 small dogs or 1 medium size dog and ask that you not leave your pet unattended unless he/she is crated. Please let us know in advance if you would like the use of the kennel. You are free, of course, to bring personal kennels. Dogs must stay leashed while on the grounds of Abundance.
We have no restrictions on the weight, size or number of dogs - please contact us for details.

Payment Policies:

To reserve Sundance, a 50% deposit is required at the time of the reservation, and full payment is due 30 days prior to arrival. All room rates are subject to 6% sales tax. Also required at the time of booking is a "Damage/Excess Cleaning" deposit of $500. This can be either a credit card authorization or a check. If in the form of a check, the check will be returned to you after your stay assuming no excess cleaning is required (e.g. carpet cleaning, extra kitchen cleaning, etc.), no damage occurred and nothing is missing or broken. If any portion, but not all, of this deposit is required to cover damage, excess cleaning or missing items, the unused balance of the funds will be returned to you. If you choose the credit card authorization method, and there is any damage, extra cleaning or missing items, we will charge your credit card directly. We reserve the right to cancel your reservation if we do not receive this deposit within 2 weeks of making your reservation. Please note that you are also liable for damage or cleaning in excess of the amounts specified above and we reserve the right to charge your credit card if necessary. We accept Visa and MasterCard. Personal checks and money orders are also welcome provided they arrive in the specified time periods. Please make checks payable to Abundance.

Restrictions:

We regret that we cannot accommodate children. Sundance Lodge is a smoke-free facility. Smoking is allowed outside on the porches and patios only. Abundance is a nature retreat. We ask that you treat our property (the houses, land, plants and creek), wildlife and our neighbors with courtesy and respect. This includes staying within the boundaries of our property. We are sorry but we cannot accommodate large gatherings or loud parties. If you would like to host a small gathering, please coordinate this with us. We reserve the right to cancel your stay in progress if issues arise that endanger your safety, inconvenience our neighbors, threaten our property, or compromise natural surroundings or wildlife. We prohibit fishing as we are a nature retreat.
