Dog Parks and Off-Leash Dog Areas in the U.S.
Ten Tips for Dog Park Etiquette:
1. Know each dog park's rules, and follow them.
2. Keep your dog leashed until you're inside the park's fenced area.
3. Never leave your dog unattended, even in an off-leash dog park.
4. Maintain voice control over your dog at all times.
5. If your dog starts to play rough, leash him or her and leave the park immediately.
6. Don't bring toys that dogs could fight over to the dog park.
7. Keep your dog's vaccinations up-to-date.
8. Never bring a female dog in heat to a dog park.
9. Always clean up after your dog.
10. A dog park is not a great place for small children -- if children are with you, watch them closely.
Birmingham: Green Springs Dog Park at George Ward Park
Daphne: Daphne Dog Park
Located at 8600 Whispering Pines Rd. (behind the Al Trione Sports Complex), Daphne, AL 36526. This dog park has a separate small dog area, drinking fountains, and washing station and open from sunrise to sunset.
Hoover: Loch Haven Dog Park
Located on Loch Haven Drive off Rocky Ridge Road in the seclusion of the Loch Haven Subdivision. Loch Haven is a one-of-a-kind park in the city of Hoover featuring an off-leash fenced area for dogs and their owners. The dog park is divided into two separate areas; one side for dogs up to 35 lbs and the other for larger dogs. Features include a canine obstacle course, .4 mile walking track, and a covered picnic pavilion with a large recreation field.

Huntsville: Dog Spot Dog Park
Dog Spot is Huntsville's First Dog Park. It is located is located on Cleveland Ave. which runs between Church St. and Meridian St. just north of downtown Huntsville and right off of I-565. It is open from sunrise to sunset everyday of the year.

Happy Tails Canine Park is a fenced-in, 3-acre off leash dog park located in the northeast corner of G.T. Bray Park.
Clearwater: Enterprise Dog Park, 2671 Enterprise Rd., Clearwater, FL 33761
The Dog Park is constructed on a 20-acre tract that is nearly two-thirds wetlands, with woods and saw palmettos on the 7.5 acres of uplands. The park offers two fenced areas: an acre-plus agility course with exercise equipment on the northeast corner of the property; and a larger enclosure with an 8-foot-wide, wheelchair-accessible trail flanked by native plants. Big and small dogs will be together and both enclosures will have fountains, doggie bags and trash receptacles. A covered picnic area with two tables, a water fountain for dogs and one for people, and a hose for washing off dogs is near the lot. Managed by the Clearwater Parks and Recreation Department, Enterprise Dog Park is open daily from sunrise to sunset. For information, call (727) 562-4800.

There are two ponds, Lake Bow Wow for the big dogs and Lake Fifi for little ones, plus doggie sand piles, shady areas and tires for dogs to climb on.

It is completely enclosed with separate gates to enter and exit. Also, an area designed for smaller dogs is fenced off from the larger enclosure. The dog park has separate parking facilities and will be open to the public seven days a week, from sunrise to sunset, at no charge.
Baton Rouge: Raising Cane's Dog Park at City Brooks Community Park

The County opened its first dog park during the fall of 2007 at Thomas Bull Memorial Park. This fenced-in off-leash area is approximately 1.5 acres and features separate areas for "Small Dogs" and "All Dogs," water fountains, benches and shade areas. The landscape of the park has contrasts of flat open areas and rolling hills for dogs of all sizes to enjoy. This is a great venue for dogs to socialize and exercise. The dog park is open to the public, 7 days a week from 7:00 a.m. to dusk.

The Dog Park has two fenced play areas — one for dogs under 30 pounds and the seniors, and one for larger dogs. Water stations, trees, benches, lots of room to run and a pond make it the perfect play area! The Paw Park is bordered on the north by a Duck Pond. The Dog Park’s area of the pond has been roped off and a fine-grade gravel beach has been built to give dogs a large area for swimming and playing in the water.

Pets on a leash no longer than 6 feet are allowed in Oregon State Parks. Ashland: The Dog Park
The Dog Park is located just off West Nevada Street behind the Ashland Greenhouse and Nursery.
Bend: Dog Off-Leash Areas
Bend has seven dog off -leash areas within the following local parks: Big Sky, 21690 Neff Road; Riverbend Beach, 799 SW Columbia St.; Ponderosa Community Park, 225 SE 15th St.; Pine Nursery Community Park, NE Purcell Rd.; Hollinshead Community Park, 1235 NE Jones Rd.; Overturf Butte Reservoir, Skyliner Summit Loop; Awbrey Resevoir, NW 10th and Trenton; and there is a fenced small dog area at the Riverbend Off-Leash area. The criteria for small dogs is less than 15 inches at the shoulder and under 25 pounds.
Corvallis: Off-Leash Dog Parks
Dogs are allowed off-leash in portions of Willamette Park; in the upper portion of Woodland Meadow Park; in Chip Ross Park (entire park); in areas north and west of the Bald Hill Park; and at Crystal Lake Sports Fields in the non-improved turf areas from November to March and everywhere except the parking area and the boat ramp the rest of the year. Most off-leash areas are not fenced so please make sure your dogs are well trained before taking them to an off-leash park.

Red Bud Isle Dog Park located on Red Bud Trail near Lake Austin Blvd, Austin,TX. North of Town Lake (Lady Bird Lake). This is a peninsula, water on 3 sides, with trails thru the woods. Doggies can swim and play in the water. The only shortcoming is that parking is Very Scarce. Get there early. Don't park illegally, you will be ticketed for sure.

Located at 13203 Blanco Road. Phil Hardberger Park on Blanco has small and large dog sections, water, poop bags and disposal bins, shade trees and tables/benches and benches. There are also ramps, a dog house on the small dog side and a water trogh on the large dog side. Hardberger also has hiking trails with poop stations.

Shelburne's three-acre dog park is on Harbor Road, a long slim wedge, about 3 acres, between the Ti Haul Walking Trail and New Village Farm on the right hand side, about a mile from the village center. It is a pleasant combination of woodland and open field, with wide paths, some of them defined by newly laid wood chips, making access easy for humans and dogs.
