There were 3 outside tables - on the sidewalk but it was a wide sidewalk and a quiet street - where we were welcome to sit with our people. The waitress brought us a "take out box" with some water and was very friendly. We can even testify that the food was good since we had to help mom finish her pasta, we only got to hear dad rave about his.

This place has great coffee, tasty breakfasts and lunches. It has only one small table outside for you and your pet but they treat both of you like royalty. They bring out a bowl of water for the pooch right away and your meal in minutes. This lone table seems to be free often because most customers are seated in the big overstuffed chairs or are business people working on their computers. I just need to say the Steaming Bean and my border collie runs to the door.

This Japanese tavern boasts one helluva sake menu and better sushi than most we've had during a dozen years in San Francisco. What's better for Bosco are the three outdoor tables under large, shady trees. There are no water bowls or doggie treats, but ask any dog and he'll tell you he'd rather have the teriyaki anyway.

We love the Blackmagic Stout and the veggie pizzas. It was our favorite place for pizza and beer before we got our dog. Now it's our favorite place with the dog. The service is good and the waitresses remember us. They have other good food as well with both veggie options and meat eater options.

I would very much like to add my restaurant Colosso to your list. Many of us who work there own dogs, and love our pets! We do have windows next to street parking for visibility. We have outdoor seating in the summertime, and welcome dogs with a big bowl of water. We donate to Dove Lewis a local emergency vet clinic. Colosso is a Spanish tapas bar, open 7 days 5pm - midnight to 2:30am, serving full menu all night. We proudly use fresh ingredients from local farmers, and have a full bar with fresh juiced drinks & infused liquors. We have a great Spanish wine list and tasty desserts made in-house.

EXTREMELY nice! We have been to Madison's two times with our doggie. Both times we sat outside . . . the second time they let us bring our food outside to sit in their outdoor area even when it was officially closed because of the weather (cold). Our dog was allowed to sit in a chair, which she oddly likes to do. They brought her water. Dog lovers should definitely keep Madison's open!

Unfortunately, at this time I cannot vouch about pooch accommodations. However, now that I see this restaurant on this site, we'll be bringing our Emma there to check it out! They serve Boont Ale...if you haven't had one, here's your chance! (If you drink more than two, you'll probably speak "Boont" better than the folks in Anderson Valley, CA!!!!)

This restaurant is super pet friendly! The staff will sometimes even come out and say hello to dogs just passing by. We've dined here on two occasions with our pup, during which we sat outside. Both times the servers brought out a cute doggie water bowl to keep our dog refreshed. Plus, they have great human food too! I highly recommend the grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup -- one of the best I've ever had!

Large, enclosed back patio invisible from the street. Picnic tables shaded by umbrellas and tree. Huge beer selection, better than average English pub fare. They are very low key about one's best friend coming along. Access is through locked gate or right through the pub, ask server which one to use. Water bowl usually available, sometimes they forget to put it out.

AKA - the TIN SHED. We love the Tin Shed and so do our pooches - we can ask them if they want to go to the Tin Shed and they'll go bonkers! The food is great for both people and hound and is open year around to our four legged friends. The outside patio is covered with industrial strength heat lamps - you should still wear your coat but your hands will not freeze as you sit there sipping a bloody mary and the hounds feast on their own gourmet delights. Fantastic atmosphere and great food for all!

The Tin Shed is a great neighborhood spot. The food & drinks are top notch, the service is great and they are indeed very pet friendly. The only draw back is the place is so popular, that on weekends the line to get in runs down the block and the wait for the pet patio is often well over an hour :-(
